Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs

Gabriel Brakin is Participant Media’s Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs. Gabe is responsible for the Company’s business and legal affairs, including matters such as the Company’s film development, production, financing and licensing transactions, its digital and new media transactions in connection with TakePart.com and its social action partnerships and other strategic joint venture and alliance opportunities.

Prior to joining Participant, Gabe was an entertainment and media attorney at O’Melveny & Myers, where his practice focused on representing motion picture studios, independent production companies and financial institutions across a wide variety of entertainment industry transactions involving the development, licensing, sale, acquisition and management of intellectual property assets.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Gabe served as a law clerk for the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima, on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, CA.

Gabe lives in Los Angeles and is a loyal Bruin fan, having earned both his B.A. in Political Science and J.D. from UCLA.
