Justin Simien joined TakePart in October 2011 as Interactive Producer and Account Manager.
Justin was previously Manager of Social Media for Sony Pictures’ Crackle. Before that, he worked in Online Publicity at Paramount Pictures, working on campaigns for such films as Paranormal Activity, Iron Man 2 and True Grit. Justin began his professional career at Focus Features, working in National Publicity on such films as Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, In Bruges and Burn After Reading.
Justin is a fellow of Film Independent’s "Project Involve" program as well as an independent producer/writer/director. Justin has been involved in several award winning projects, including his own web series INST MSGS, which was nominated for a Streamy Award.
