LOS ANGELES (November 2, 2016) - Two Participant Media documentaries were nominated for Cinema Eye Honors, which recognizes outstanding artistry and craft in documentary filmmaking.

Presenting Princess Shaw was nominated for the Audience Choice Prize.

In October, Princess Shaw (aka Samantha Montgomery), was included on Cinema Eye Honors' Unforgettables list, which honors the year’s most notable and significant nonfiction film subjects.

Directed by Ido Haar, the film tells the true story of a star-crossed singer-songwriter and the enigmatic composer Kutiman.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney's cyberwarfare documentary Zero Days received two nominations: Outstanding Achievement in Production (Marc Shmuger, Alex Gibney), and Outstanding Achievement in Graphic Design or Animation (nominees to be determined).

Zero Days explores Stuxnet, a self-replicating computer worm discovered in 2010 that was commissioned by the U.S. and Israeli governments to sabotage Iran’s nuclear program.

The winners will be announced on January 11. Click here for the complete list of nominees.
